Lewis C. Cruz, age 70, formerly of Deshler, Ohio died on Saturday evening, December 19, 2009 at the Blakely Care Center of Bowling Green.
He was born August 19, 1939 in Spring Branch, Texas to the late Filomeno and Maria (Castor) Cruz. On November 7, 1959 he married Oralia (Perales) Cruz.
Lewis was a retired auto body repairman.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years; three daughters Eloise (Ray) Ireland of Fostoria, Ohio, Gloria (Sam) Serrato of Bowling Green, Ohio and Julie (Jason) Boney of Perrysburg, Ohio; five grandchildren Melinda Lugo, Ricky Lugo, Joshua Ireland, Monica Boney, and Rachel Boney; three great-grandchildren Austin Craddolph, Jordan Craddolph, and Alycia Yoder; three brothers John “Juan” Cruz of Austin, Texas, Concepion Cruz of Austin, Texas, and Edward Cruz of Dripping Springs, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a brother Antonio Cruz.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Parkview Christian Church, Findlay, Ohio with Rev. Neil Norheim, officiating. Burial will be private.
