Margaret Selleck, 97, of rural Leipsic passed away at her residence on Wednesday evening, May 19, 2010.
She was born June 19, 1912 in New Bavaria, Ohio to Adam and Margaret (Ensman) Wilhelm. She married Charles Cecil Selleck on April 25, 1942 and he passed away on December 22, 1987.
Margaret was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria and the Rosary Altar Society.
Margaret leaves behind her daughter: Kari (Dale) Siefker of rural Leipsic; five grandchildren: Adam Siefker, Megan Johnson, Jude Siefker, Lucy Siefker, and Sara Siefker and two great-grandchildren: Alexis Johnson and Bailey Siefker.
Margaret is preceded in death by a granddaughter Angela Siefker; six brothers: Alvin, Walter, Willard, Wiley, Albert, and John Wilhelm; four sisters: Dorothy Gebhart, Kathryn Diehl, Betty McGuire, and Lucille Hoeffel.
Friends will be received at Snyder Funeral Home of Holgate on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 5 - 8 P.M. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Monday at 10:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria.
