Biography

Agnes Mary Minsel, age 95 of Clifton, Virginia and formerly of Okolona, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 at her residence in Clifton, Virginia
She was born January 12, 1915 in Skidmore, Texas to Alois and Susan (Kucharik) Minarik. On November 5, 1938 she married Vincent Joseph Minsel and he passed away on December 23, 2007.
Agnes was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon, Ohio.
She is survived by two daughters: Doloris (Arthur) Binkowski of Monroeville, Pennsylvania and Anne (Rev. Canon Phillip J.) Rapp of Clifton, Virginia; a brother Joe Minarik of Michigan; 7 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by a son Ronald Louis Minsel; two sisters: Mary Minarik and Tillie Bilka; two brothers: John Minarik and Louis Minarik;
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon, Ohio with the Father Daniel Borgelt, officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM in the Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home. A rosary service will be recited at 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
