Life Legacy
Lucille Dishop, age 89 of Napoleon, went home to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning, June 1, 2010 at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon.
She was born January 30, 1921 in Henry County to Henry W. and Helen D. (Cordes) Imbrock. On June 21, 1942 she married Fred H. Dishop. Fred preceded her in passing on January 14, 1994.
Lucille was a homemaker and spent many years as an aide and volunteer at the Filling Home of Mercy. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township where she participated in many church activities.
Lucille is survived by a son: Kenneth F. (Mary Lou) Dishop of Aiken, South Carolina; a daughter: Kathryn E. Davis of Shoreline, Washington; a brother: Rev. Norman (Bernice) Imbrock of Napoleon; sister-in-laws: Hildegard Reiser and Pauline Dishop, both of Napoleon; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Lucille was also preceded in death by a brother, Elden Imbrock.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 8, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township with the Rev. Franklin Hays officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6–8 PM in the Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon and on Tuesday for one hour prior to services at the church. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Filling Memorial Home of Mercy or St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
