Mildred Foels, age 94 of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on July 9, 2010 at Country View Haven in Napoleon.
She was born July 6, 1916 to the late George and Ella (Fuhrhop) Hoffman.
On January 20, 1940 she married Robert H. Foels and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1989.
Mildred was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon. She was a buyer for the former Lion Store, now Dillard’s, for over 25 years, retiring in 1986.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia (Josef Kuckelkorn) Bilow of Napoleon, Carolyn (Robert) Oden of Richland, WA; son, Thomas (Elaine) Foels of Perrysburg; 9 grandchildren: Mark (Teresa) Bilow, Matthew (Angela) Bilow, Tina (Steve) Parsons, Daniel (Cathy) Oden, Ann (Wenzel) Machek, Paul (Kristen) Foels, Brenda (Matthew) Jakey, Raymond (Mary) Harmacinski, William Reilly; and 23 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, Ohio with the Rev. Peter Marcis and Rev. John Hoyler officiating. Interment will be at 2:30PM in Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, Ohio.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 9:30AM until the time of service at the church.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Country View Haven.
